Water Jet Cutting Cuts Without Heat, Sparks, Dust or Vibration
Water jet cutting utilizes a high-pressure water jet combined with abrasive garnet. The sharp abrasive and interchangeable nozzles enable precise and controlled cutting of steel and concrete.
Water jet cutting is ideally suited for creating various penetrations or access openings in tanks, floors and many fire-sensitive environments, as it causes no vibration and does not heat the material. Thanks to the spark-free process, spaces such as ship tanks do not need to be made gas-free prior to water jet cutting.

When cutting metal, water jet cutting is a superior method as it does not heat the material and therefore does not create a heat-affected zone (HAZ) with intrinsic properties that differ from the base material.
